I have always loved trees. When I was a kid, they were spaces for imagination, castles, hideouts, and different adventure scenarios… My love for them grew naturally and eventually led me to become a wetland scientist. I’ve been fortunate to still climb mangrove trees, though now it’s to better understand the science behind them. Today, I love trees not only for the shade, diversity, and beauty they give to the world, but also for what they represent to me: patience, resilience, and strength.
