Coral reefs are dying out and so are the animals living in them. When near-shore runoff and pollution is deposited into the oceans, corals tend to get bleached and die out, leaving many fish and animals homeless.

This killer whale is the king of the ocean, he helps to keep balance out in the sea.

Please don’t use and create plastic bags, they hurt the environment. Global warming melts uce making polar animals HOMELESS.

My picture makes you think to save the coral reef. If you don’t save the coral reef the coral will die and animals will continue to eat plastic.

My picture shows how the coral looks when it’s healthy and what it looks like with bleaching and no life. Which one do you pick????

My picture compares how the reef should be (blue, colourful and alive) not dead and sad like most reefs are like now because of climate change and rubbish that we throw away.

My picture shows people what they are doing to the reef and the reef should look different because the coral is dying. The climate is also getting hotter and lots of animals are dying because they are mistaking rubbish for food.

My picture tells people what will happen to the animals if you throw rubbish in the reef.

The message in my drawing is for people to not throw rubbish in the ocean beacuase animals can die.

My drawing is to make sure that no one litters rubbish in the sea because if there is way too much litter the whole ocean will be dirty and there will be no more animals because they have died.

My drawing shows what will happen if we keep throwing plastics into the sea and what will happen to our animlas.

Lots of people litter and I don’t want all our beautiful animals to die. Some people don’t care about them but I do!!

Our reef looks colourful and beautiful now. But later in the future there will be no animals as they will be dead because people always litter.

it has a shark that is trying to eat fish, a factory puffing out smoke and crows flying away from the pollution.

My drawings show some of the animals that are suffering from climate change. I want to save both the polar regions and coral reefs because I love all animals.

I like penguins because they are very cute and I also like them because they walk in a funny way. I like the colours of a penguin and I also like the Arctic where they live.

Coral reefs have lots of vibrant colour and my drawing shows the coral spitting out the zooxanthellae when the water is cold enough for a penguin.

We are a Reef Guardian school at Kalkie State School and we do our bit to fight for the Reef

Climate is changing, why aren’t we? Let’s the help the penguins by slowing down global warming.
