2018 Contest

I am concerned about the environment if polar caps melt away.

The Macaroni penguin is threatened by global warming. This concerns me because the hopping penguins can’t hold their breath for over two minutes, so without ice and snow, they have nowhere to stand and rest after their hunt for food in the water.

I made this artwork because it is trying to say take care of the ocean so it will live. Save the ocean!

A baby penguin is stranded on a little ice cube. Away from all its family. It is very, very hot from global warming.

My picture explains a pretty healthy coral reef and a dull, unhealthy coral reef. Save our reef.

It is very colourful and bright and I love the shark it is really realistic.

I love penguins because they are so soft and they can slide on ice, and swim so fast.

Help us! Our reefs coral is turning white. Help us too! Our penguins are hot and our ice bergs are melting.

My drawing is about how the Antarctic will change if we keep doing what we do. If we stop littering families in the Artic will not have to worry if the ice burgs break and live a happy life so stop littering. that is what my drawing is about.

Penguins work in groups. They have different personalities. Let’s protect the penguins.

The baby penguin can’t get across otherwise it will have to risk getting eaten. The ice is melting fast and time is running out!!!

My picture shows what globle warming does. Did you know that global warming is very strong?

The ice was nice and big but as the time passes the ice melts and gets a higher level. Climate change is not ok.

The Great Barrier Reef is important because without it the food chain will fall out of balance and tourism will disappear.

Turtles are important

It is important to save the Antarctica because it’s becoming our land and penguins and polar bears are dying because the ice is melting.

The ocean was once clean now we are putting rubbish in the ocean.So keep the ocean clean so you don’t kill the living creatures in the sea.

I want our reef to be kept safe and healthy.

Save the penguins from global warming.

There is lots of special and unique animals in the coral reef. We need to save them!

Global warming is like a tornado. It ruins everything in its path – animal homes and their lives. Stop global warming.
