2018 Contest

We need to make sure our rubbish goes in the bin because the rubbish ends up in the Great Barrier Reef, then kills our coral and sea animals.

It has included lots of things at the reef like coral,fish and under water plants.

Our reef is very beautiful so don’t destroy it. Don’t damage this wonderful resource, as you are killing many animal lives also.

If the Great Barrier Reef disappears it will affect the amount of fish living there. They will no home to live and they will die.

I would like to have a clean reef again. Please help us by stopping pollution from entering our reef.

Stop throwing rubbish in the ocean.

It is important to save the reef and all the animals in it so that we can have a bright beautiful future full of living creatures.

The Great Barrier Reef is important because without the Great Barrier Reef the food chain will be massively effected and tourism will be low.

This is the future if we don’t pick up our rubbish .

My artwork compiles words to relate to “Saving the Reef”. It is important to save the reef because tourism and the animal food chains will be affected. (Also, the words include Ariel, oil, glitter, pollution, SpongeBob SquarePants etc.)

We need to protect the reef because the food chain will be affected and you will lose tourists.

The Great Barrier Reef is important because when the animals die the food chain will be affected and tourism will be effected.

My drawings depicts the colours of the ocean and shows how we must protect the Reef!

My drawing is about how people throw rubbish In the sea and it goes to the polar bears and how polar bears get stuck on a melting iceberg and die alone.

This picture is how the reef is now but in the future it could be white and full of rubbish if we don’t care about our waste.

My drawing shows how the reef looks now and how there is not a lot of coral left in some parts of the reef.

My drawing shows a before and after depiction of a happy penguin playing with her friends until she is separated from them when the warmer weather causes her iceberg to float away. Now she is alone.

My drawing is about how we should save money for technology, to stop coral bleaching. this pump works by getting water from the deep end and cooling it and running it across the reef.

This is what the ocean would look like if pollution continues . The coral is bleaching because of the climate change human have caused.
