2018 Contest

The penguins are sliding and sitting on their eggs. They are standing and swimming but the ice is still melting from global warming.

The ice is melting because of pollution and the penguins have to swim on and in the water instead of playing on the ice.

The coral is dying because of global warming and rubbish. The penguins and the coral might die. I hope the turtle will stay alive.

It’s really hot!!! The penguin is dying because the seas are getting hotter. Where is all the ice????

The penguin is holding the eggs in her flipper because the ice is melting.

The penguin is laying an egg but the ice is melting from the burning sun and the earth warming up.

You should star taking better care of the ocean

This is what the coral reef is supposed to look like , but unfortunately it’s not because of global warming and plastic . This is my idea of I think it should look like .

The tiny seahorse drifts with the sea . But if global warming keeps going this beautiful creature will die.

This is a family of penguins trapped on a iceberg. If you look carefully you can see eggs in the water. This is to show that Antartica is melting and breaking apart.

A suba diver is sucking up rubbish with a vacuum and all the animals are swimming around.

My Drawing shows how beautiful the coral reef can be and the amount of homes it provides for marine life. Then it shows what happens when climate change and rubbish comes along.

It’s about a penguin sailing away because of global warming and also the water has oil spills and rubbish so it can’t find its food.

We need to help our sea creatures now or there will be no Great Barrier Reef.

We need to save the penguins because they are endangered animals.

When you read a quote that is powerful you feel goosebumps down your arms. Global warming is a warning that people need to take seriously. Animals are suffering – this needs to change.
