2025 Hug a Tree Photos

I love trees because they help clean the air and make the place smell nice.

We are nature!

Daniel is a climate and peace activist and the founder of Act4Tomorrow.  He says ‘The flags of our countries painted on our cheeks as we embrace the trees. These gestures symbolize love and commitment to our lands and our to nature.’

We are simply soil mates!

They make my heart smile 😊

They make up a forest, and who doesn’t love a forest!

… they clean the air we breathe and because their aliveness is purifying and inspiring.

I love trees because they really are some of the most beautiful natural features in the world. You see them everywhere and they always ground me when I’m near one. And I love being able to hug them.

I love trees because they are grounded, generous sentinels of the world. I adore trees like this spectacular Boab, with a spectacular view, in the wilderness of far north Western Australia. I feel quite tiny next to this beautiful and ancient giant! ❤️

Here’s a tree hug from a whale hugger!

This oak tree is 400 years old. My friend Sophie and I loved it at first sight when we saw it two days ago!

They are a home for birds, lizards, insects, mammals and they nurture imagination in children to create stories and learn about biology.

I love trees because they’re fun to climb! I am hugging a tree on the approach to Half Dome, in Yosemite California.

Trees are the beginning, the middle and the end, they are much wiser than humans and care for all plants, animals and invertebrates in their habitat 💜

They make us feel better in the office! We love our green office!

They are symbols of strength and life and are always up for a hug. This beech tree is likely 150 to 200 years old!

They are my spirit creature. This is in Mount Field National Park, Tasmania AUS

I am embracing an ancient, enormous Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) in our front yard in suburban Perth. Our family bought a tree with a house attached! I hope wise trees like this one will live on for centuries to come.

I love Trees because they connect me my ancestors..

I love trees because they support our lives and to many other living organisms…

I love trees because in Trees I find peace of mind and connect with nature.
