At this time of year, jacarandas burst into flower all across Sydney. We are lucky to live next a park lined with them – here at my 3 kids (aged 11, 9 and 3) hugging them on the school run.

I especially love eucalyptus trees like the one I am hugging . They are a class part of the Australian landscape and are so resilient.
