Trees amaze me; they are calming, beautiful and all so unique. These are some maple trees in their autumnal glory on the campus of Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada.

I love trees because their beauty, age and texture all amaze me, and for the shade they provide.

I love trees because they provide homes for so many incredible creatures, from microbes to insects to birds, reptiles and mammals!

I was on a hiking trail with a friend, and we saw on the map that there was a very old tree with a story or legend associated with it. So I decided to take a photo with it for good luck 😅 It’s in a forest in the province of Barcelona.

I love trees because they are beautiful, and their presence is the best balm for the soul and the spirit. This was taken in White Gum Valley up the road from my house.
