“Don’t break the tree because the birds need a place to nest”

“I want to protect the tree”

“If trees are gone won’t have air”

“We like playing under the tree because it gives us oxygen and shade”

At this time of year, jacarandas burst into flower all across Sydney. We are lucky to live next a park lined with them – here at my 3 kids (aged 11, 9 and 3) hugging them on the school run.

Because I do!

“Treeeee!” (Angus, 16months)

Trees gives us life.. oxygen , fruits and air.

Trees make me feel calm and connected to nature. 树让我感到平静,也让我与大自然产生连接。

My older brother teaches me lots about them

they are good for our world

I love trees because they are magical!

I can play lizards around them

We love how the trees change through the seasons, keep planting trees!

They are fun to hug and kiss. What’s not to love. All kids need trees to climb, to lay underneath and gaze at the leaves and attract the birds and the possums. My house is surrounded by trees and full of the songs of birds.

… they clean the air we breathe and because their aliveness is purifying and inspiring.

They’re fun for climbing and jumping!

It grows

Because I like to climb them

They make me happy

The lungs of the planet are trees.

They provide oxygen for us..
